Terms of Service

Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of War Machine, operated by Memetic Machines ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing the site, joining the waitlist, or creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

This document is an engineering draft for product launch. It is not legal advice and must be reviewed by qualified counsel before production reliance.

Eligibility

You must meet the minimum legal age required to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.

You may use the service only where doing so is lawful. You may not access the service if you are located in, ordinarily resident in, or organized under the laws of a jurisdiction where the service is prohibited, or if you are subject to sanctions, embargoes, or similar restrictions.

You may maintain only one account unless we expressly authorize otherwise. We may suspend or terminate accounts for abuse, fraud, manipulation, sanctions screening, regulatory requests, or other compliance concerns.

The service

War Machine provides geopolitical intelligence and prediction-market experiences. Features, markets, and access levels may change during waitlist, beta, or early-access periods.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, incidents, source-quality issues, or operational pauses may delay features, settlement, or access.

Waitlist, demo, beta, and early-access features may be experimental, may contain errors, and may be withdrawn or reset. Demo data, preview markets, and simulated balances are provided for product evaluation only and are not live trading activity.

Accounts and authentication

Waitlist and product accounts may require email verification and wallet authentication through third-party identity providers (for example Web3Auth). You are responsible for securing access to your email and wallet credentials.

You agree that information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it current where the product allows updates.

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account, email, wallet, private keys, or authentication method has been compromised.

Prediction markets and capital at risk

When trading or staking becomes available, you may lose the full amount you commit. Past performance, market prices, or analytical outputs do not guarantee future results.

• Capital at risk: you can lose your entire stake.
• Resolution timing may be delayed by source quality, finality windows, or operational incidents.
• Pari-mutuel pool shares are not probabilities and do not imply guaranteed payout.
• Pre-resolution exits or withdrawals may not be available in early versions.
• Outcomes may rely on external open-source intelligence and third-party data with varying quality.
• Digital-asset, wallet, network, oracle, and smart-contract risks may affect access, settlement, fees, and recovery options.
• Platform operations may pause during maintenance or incidents.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to violate applicable law, infringe others' rights, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operations, scrape at abusive rates, or manipulate markets or referrals.

You may not submit false identity information, evade access controls, exploit bugs, reverse engineer restricted systems, launder funds, coordinate abusive trading behavior, spam referral flows, or use bots or automation in ways that degrade the service or distort product metrics.

User submissions

If you submit questionnaire answers, feedback, support messages, profile details, referrals, or other content, you represent that you have the rights needed to provide it and that it does not violate law or the rights of others.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, and use your submissions as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the service. This license does not change the privacy commitments in our Privacy Notice.

Third-party services

The service may depend on third-party providers, wallets, identity services, email providers, blockchain networks, hosting infrastructure, data sources, and block explorers. Their services may be subject to their own terms and privacy notices.

We are not responsible for third-party services, network fees, wallet failures, source outages, or external data errors, but we may use reasonable operational controls to reduce their impact on the product.

Intellectual property

The War Machine name, branding, software, and content we provide are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, revocable license to use the service as we make it available. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or redistribute our materials except as permitted by law or written agreement.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Analytical outputs, maps, market displays, probabilities, comments, summaries, and source collections are informational and operational tools. They are not investment, financial, legal, tax, security, or geopolitical advice.

We do not guarantee that any data source, model output, forecast, market, map, or settlement artifact is complete, current, accurate, or suitable for your intended use.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.

Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the revised version with an updated effective date. Material changes may require renewed acceptance where the product implements acknowledgment flows.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction TBD], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in [venue TBD] have exclusive jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.
