Cookie Policy

Overview
This Cookie Policy explains how War Machine uses cookies and similar storage on the public landing site and related pages.
We use Umami Cloud for privacy-focused landing analytics. The Umami tracker does not set analytics cookies, and we do not use analytics cookies for advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking.
What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage in your browser.
Strictly necessary cookies
When you sign in or create an account, our authentication partner (Web3Auth) and related identity providers may set cookies or comparable tokens needed to complete login, maintain session state, and prevent fraud.
These are treated as strictly necessary for the service you request. They may support authentication, account security, fraud prevention, load balancing, and service continuity. We do not use them for cross-site advertising.
Local storage (not cookies)
The waitlist flow may store in-progress answers in your browser local storage so you can resume onboarding on the same device. This data stays on your device until you clear site data or submit your profile.
Referral codes may also be stored locally for attribution handoff. Local storage is browser storage, not a cookie, but you can usually clear it from the same site-data controls. See our Privacy Notice for how account and referral data is processed on our servers.
Email preferences
Email preference and unsubscribe pages use secure tokens in the URL rather than marketing preference cookies.
Analytics and optional technologies
Umami helps us understand landing-site usage, such as pages viewed, referrers, browser and device information, approximate country, and basic waitlist funnel events. We do not send email addresses, wallet addresses, referral codes, or questionnaire answers to Umami.
We do not use Umami for cross-site advertising or retargeting. If we add cookie-based analytics or advertising technologies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, request your consent before setting non-essential cookies.
Blocking analytics scripts or declining optional technologies, where a consent tool is available, will not prevent use of strictly necessary account, security, or waitlist functions.
Third-party storage
Some embedded providers or authentication flows may use their own cookies, SDK storage, or browser redirects. Those providers are responsible for their own notices and controls, and their behavior may vary by browser, device, and region.
How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or waitlist completion.
You can clear local storage for this site through your browser's site-data controls. Browser-level do-not-track or global privacy signals may not affect strictly necessary storage, but we will honor legally required preference signals if we introduce activities covered by those signals.
